Sell gift cards for Bitcoin — get paid from escrow

Convert gift cards into Bitcoin without trusting a stranger: the buyer’s BTC locks in escrow first, and your card code stays vaulted in the trade chat until the trade is protected.

How it works

Take a live offer from a trader buying gift cards with BTC — or post your own offer at your own rate.

The buyer’s Bitcoin locks in escrow before anything else happens; you never reveal a code against an unfunded trade.

Share the code through the escrow vault in trade chat. When the buyer confirms, the BTC releases to your wallet; if they dispute, a moderator rules on the chat evidence.

Common questions

When do I hand over the gift-card code?

Only after the buyer’s BTC is locked in escrow, and only through the vault in escrow chat — never in a DM. The vault timestamps the reveal, which is exactly the evidence a moderator needs if the buyer disputes.

How fast do I get the Bitcoin?

The moment the buyer confirms the code, escrow releases the BTC to your SafeTheTrade wallet. From there you can trade it onward or withdraw it on-chain.

What does selling a gift card cost?

If you take someone else’s offer, nothing — takers pay no platform fee. Posting your own offer costs a small escrow fee, from 1%, listed on the fees page.
